Get To Know More About Us
Limitless Potential, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides Supported Community Living services to individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as those with brain injuries. Limitless Potential helps families find a home in the Cedar Rapids and Davenport areas where their child or loved one can live with up to three other individuals diagnosed with similar conditions. Our trained and caring staff works in the home 24 hours a day, assisting members with their daily living activities. We support adults and children with all types of intellectual and developmental challenges; helping them to become as independent as possible in hopes that someday they can get to the point where they can live on their own and become contributing members of their communities.

Making an Impact with those we serve
"When our 15-year old son began working with LPI, it was the first time he moved out of our home so it was a hard and scary transition for all of us. LPI was very supportive and helpful to our son and our entire family. They helped make sure it was a smooth transition by providing a caring, family-like environment from the very first day.
They genuinely care about my son and our entire family, they feel like extended family to us.
We feel that because staff have such varied education and experiences, they are able to help him in so many areas of his life. They have mentored not only our son, but me & my husband also. We feel comfortable reaching out to them for advice and they help us to help him. We feel that we truly are a big part of the decision making process for our son.
They also genuinely know our son as an individual so they are able to help make goals and decisions that will help him grow and mature. Our son has matured and become so much more independent since he started working with LPI.
We feel very blessed to be working with LPI." - Jenny S.
"Moving our daughter into a group home was a very difficult choice. We had always thought that this type of living situation was not something we would ever feel comfortable doing. It ended up being one of the best choice for her and she has grown in her communication and independence.
There are so many aspects of LPI that we love. The most important to us is the collaboration that we feel with the staff at LPI. Though our daughter was moving into a group home we wanted to still stay active in her life and major decisions. With LPI we feel like our voice is heard in regards to what we feel like is best for our daughter, at the same time the do a great job of "coaching" us as parents to let our daughter grow.
The agency and her house is very organized and communication is frequent. It is so fun to get texts and pictures from the staff sharing fun events and activities that our daughter it participating in. They understand the importance of socialization, exercise and eating healthy." - Kathryn B.
